King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributes dates to recyclable material collectors in Brasília, DF
On the occasion, the Federation of Muslim Associations if Brazil, the executor of the saudi Entity project, they also distributed Halal animal protein
Recyclable material collectors from the Federal District (DF), on the morning of this Monday (4), were benefited by the project “Distribution of 100 tons of dates in the Federative Republic of Brazil and neighboring countries”. The project was conceived by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid of Saudi Arabia with execution by the Federation of Muslim Associations in Brazil – FAMBRAS.
The event took place at the Federal District Integrated Recycling Complex (CIR/DF). In addition to the dates provided by the saudi entity, the workers also received animal protein.
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid’s date distribution project has already benefited various countries around the world. This time, Brazil and 12 other Latin American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Guyana, El Salvador, and Guatemala) were honored.
The event – The action was attended by various authorities, including Faisal Ghulam, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Brazil; Agaciel Maia, Secretary of Institutional Relations of the Federal District; Glauco Amorim, Head of the Strategic Management and Projects Advisory of the Secretariat for Environment and Animal Protection; Wanessa Corezza, Undersecretary of Integrated Actions and Programs of the Administrative Regions of the State Secretariat of Tourism; Aline Sousa, from the Central of Cooperative Work of Recyclable Material Collectors of DF (CENTCOOP-DF) and Marcos Tadeu de Andrade, Deputy Director of the Urban Cleaning Service.
Representing the King Salman Center, Bashher Salem Al Sharari, director of the food department, and Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Althumairi, director of the operations department, were present.
For FAMBRAS, the representative was the vice president, Ali Zoghbi. “We are very proud to have been chosen to execute this project of the King Salman Center,” he summarized. “I believe that today, these workers who were here and their families will be happier with what they received.”
