FAMBRAS Group Participates in the Reactivation of the Brazil-Tunisia Business Council and Presents the Book Al Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun

Last Thursday (11th), the FAMBRAS Group participated in a seminar at the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) in São Paulo, where the Brazil-Tunisia Business Council was reactivated. The renewal document of the council was signed at the Brazil-Tunisia Seminar by the president of the initiative on the Tunisian side, businessman Moez Driss, and the president on the Brazilian side, Rubens Hannun, who is an entrepreneur at H2R Insights & Trends, honorary consul of Tunisia in São Paulo, and former president of the Arab Chamber.

Representing the FAMBRAS Group, Vice President Ali Zoghbi presented a plaque honoring the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar. Additionally, Ali and Osmar Chohfi, President of the Arab Chamber, also presented the book Al Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun, an important work on Islamic theology. The first translation of this book was published between 1950 and 1960, translated directly from Arabic to Portuguese by the couple of translators José Khoury and Angelina Bierrenbach Khoury. In 2023, the FAMBRAS Group and the CCAB released a re-edition of the Portuguese translation of this important book.
