FAMBRAS receives visit from His Eminence, the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa

Today (9), Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil – FAMBRAS received the distinguished visit of His Eminence, the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al Ghazzaoui, who came accompanied by his entourage composed by: Sheikh Abdul Nasser Al Khatib, President of the Expatriates Department, Sheikh Asim Al Jarrah, Secretary General of Dar Al-Fatwa and Mr. Kamal Al Afash, Director of the Zakat Fund.

They were received by Dr. Mohamed Zoghbi and Dr. Ali Zoghbi, president and vice president of FAMBRAS, respectively. Omar Chahine, commercial director of FAMBRAS Halal, Dr. Mohamed Charanek, legal director of FAMBRAS Halal and Bassim Zoghbi, operational director of FAMBRAS Halal also participated in the meeting.

Dr. Sheikh Ali Al Ghazzaoui is an important personality for the world Muslim community. It is worth remembering that on April 28 he was honored by FAMBRAS, where the deep connection between Muslim communities in Brazil and around the world was celebrated.

During the visit to the Federation headquarters, projects of the FAMBRAS Group were presented and also the Halal certification work developed by FAMBRAS Halal.
