Mufti of Lebanon and President of FAMBRAS meet in Brasília with Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha

The President of FAMBRAS, Mohamed El Zoghbi, and the Mufti of Zahle and Beqaa, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Ghazzawi, strengthened dialogue for the implementation of future joint actions.
Yesterday (15), the President of the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil – FAMBRAS, Mohamed Zoghbi, and the Mufti of Zahle and Beqaa, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Ghazzawi, met with the Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations (SRI), Alexandre Padilha, and the Special Secretary for Federative Affairs, André Ceciliano.
Also present were FAMBRAS Legal Director, Dr. Mohamed Charanek, and the delegation of the Mufti of Zahle and Beqaa, which included the Head of the Expatriates Department, His Eminence Sheikh Abdel Nasser Al-Khatib, Secretary of Dar El Fatwa in Bekaa, His Eminence Sheikh Assem Al-Jarrah, Financial Director of Dar El-Fatwa institutions in Bekaa, and Mr. Kamal Al-Din Al-Afash.
The visit aimed to strengthen diplomatic and cultural ties between Brazil and Lebanon. Alongside the President of FAMBRAS, the meeting also addressed social, cultural, and political issues affecting Muslim communities in both Brazil and Lebanon.
During the occasion, opportunities for projects and business were discussed. Additionally, the President of FAMBRAS took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of dialogue for future projects and actions.
