President of FAMBRAS Visits Brazilian Embassy in Lebanon and Strengthens Ties Between the Two Countries with a Focus on Donations and Economic Relations

The Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil – FAMBRAS, represented by its president, Mohamed Zoghbi, visited the Brazilian Embassy in Lebanon yesterday (9) for a meeting with Ambassador Tarcísio Costa.
During the meeting, topics related to the donation of medicines to the humanitarian fund Unidos Pelo Líbano (UPL), an entity presided over by Zoghbi, were discussed. The fund plays a key role in providing humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people. The initiative aims to strengthen medical assistance in Lebanon at a time of great need.
In addition to humanitarian issues, the president of FAMBRAS also addressed opportunities for bilateral trade between Brazil and Lebanon, seeking to enhance economic relations between the two countries. The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening commercial ties, with a focus on the food sector and Halal exports, in which Brazil is one of the world’s leading suppliers.
